Depends on the stylus... It is a Touchscreen but not all stylus are tuned to screen sensor. You'll need to experiment. Stylus needs to mimick electrical properties of fingers. Samsung stylus are Samsung specific. Generic spongy flanged tips may work due to capacitive coupling properties that closely resemble human skin elec properties

Can you use touch screen with hdmi connection or only usb c ?

Hello, thanks for your question. Sorry, you cannot use the computer's USB C port to power the monitor. The 15.6" touch monitor does not have a USB A/C port. But we have specially equipped it with an AC/DC power adapter. Will this work with the Samsung S10e?

We checked the Samsung S10e has type C function port, it can be connected to the monitor via type C-C cable, as the monitor need 5V 3A voltage input and the Samsung S10e seems can not provide enough 5V 3A power support for the monitor via type C cable, so the monitor may need an external power supply via PD charger. I did not have that problem. Been playing YouTube videos on mine. Check your HDMI cable, I have notice some are not made very well.

Don't remember where I found the instructions but... Turn on the monitor first (hold power button a few seconds) Then hold the [Brightness +] for a few seconds for the main OSD menu. Volume + for input menu You'll have to wait for the volume+- display indicator to disappear before trying to open the OSD.

Except plugging in 5V power source, you have to plug in an extra USB cable to get the touch functioning.

I would imagine it would work just fine...don't have a Pi 400, but the ports should work on any computer.

Was this supposed to come with a stand? I am having serious difficult using the touchscreen without the monitor falling over.

Mine came with a back cover that can be used but if you push too hard will fall so I purchased a separate tablet stand so that it doesn't fall down and cost less than $20.

Working great.The picture quality it is crisp and clear.The quality of the screen is nice for a 5 sensitive points but looks fragile just take care when you carry with you.The brightness is good for indoor for outdoor not too much because the screen is glossy.The volume is low but ok, I use the 3.5mm jack to connect my headphones or speakers.The Colorful Flowing Atmosphere Lights are very low I don't see the difference if is on or off :PBeen using for a month with my S10+ in mirror mode and Dex mode both working great, tested with a laptop and the touch is working.The only downside was the HDMI cable didn't work for me (used another one) and that only have 1 OTG USB port. I use wired mouse, keyboard and controller because I'm using it for gaming so I bought a USB HUB and its working great.

Awesome touch monitor! Very high quality, the screen and included cables. Good touch response as well. Before VGA was 14" now it's 5 and works great.This display warrants adding more the the review later. I've wasted my money on other small resistive touch displays, I'm really appreciating the capacitive screen and the fact it doesn't look like I have an old gps screen on my desk.

This is a fabulous portable monitor that works perfect with a MacBook 16" M1 Max. Keep in mind that you have to power it and then send the power through the monitor to the computer. I tried to go power->Computer->Monitor and the brightness would only go to 85 before shutting itself off. Run Power->Monitor->Computer and it runs great.I did end up returning it but not because I didn't want to keep it. Unfortunately I have a hardside computer luggage that holds 4 computers and it was just too large to fit :-(Still, highly recommended.

I'm pairing this with my Microsoft Surface Book 2 15in for work and productivity on the go and office. While at 13in it's smaller than my laptop screen, my preference was for a compact screen that was more portable and lighter.What surprised me most was how thin and easy to pair it was. It essentially looks and feels like an android tablet. You get everything you need out of the box to ensure you can pair it to most devices extremely simply. Pairing it was as simple as connecting the USB C to USB wire from the monitor to my laptop. I didn't need to use the charger provided at all. No additional setup or software was needed. I tweaked the color and brightness a bit from the settings on the monitor itself to more closely match the laptop, but aside from that, it was good.I wanted a touch monitor as it paired well with my touch screen experience I was already used to. It's great to be able to pinch to zoom and scroll with gestures. The folio/tent cover allows you to get your preferred viewing angle while also being a screen protector when not in use.

I find that with these portable monitors it's mostly about finding one that meets enough of your criteria at a decent enough price and honestly this one does it for me. The Resolution / Aspect Ratio is really nice. Apple and all the other big laptop companies are going 16/10 for a reason. Resolution at this size is also great. You really don't need the power drain of 4K at this size and it just adds extra cost. If I was to pick something about it I didn't like, the HDR performance is kind of mediocre and I don't believe i saw a VESA certification anyway but for the price I don't really think that's an issue, at least it has it. Also the colors are a bit warm so you might need to tweak that yourself but that's doable. It's a great all rounder for the price.

A single toggle on the side gets you to all menu features and setting menus, very intuitive and fast settings.I like how light this is and how easily it is to connect. All the cables needed are included and the instructions do a good job outlining the settings and adjustments.Includes a nice 100mm VESA mounting holes on the back to allow any VESA bracket to be used.THe screen is bright, clear and has very good resolution. If there was a 6 star review I would rate it there.

works great. built in speaker is pretty terrible, but that's expected. VESA is 75x75, I believe the screw size needed is M2. While I use it as a 2nd/3rd monitor next to my 24" 1440p display, I spun up borderlands 3 for a few minutes to see how it looks. While I think the size is a little small to use for gaming primarily, it's clean enough to play games on casually. I can see it being handy if someone wants a clean portable monitor for a travel PC. be warned when turning off a pc that's connected to it, the default "no signal" screen is a BRIGHT shade of blue, but that turns off in a few seconds. overall, cannot recommend enough for the VESA, which as far as i am aware, no other monitors in this size/resolution range has.

It is a very good monitor.... I am very happy that I got it. The resolution is FHD. It is working perfectly with my Windows laptop. It came with a charger, two USB C cables, and HDMI cable. I just plugged the power cable and the HDMI cable in and monitor is working with no issues. Its HDMI port is a regular size. It has a micro USB port and it has power button, and two volume buttons. I am happy with this 17 inch monitor. Highly recommend.

What i loved most about this product is its vesa compatibility. I was able to mount it side by side with my four dell tablets. The picture quality is also great, its crisp and colorful. The item comes with all the cables you need plus if your connecting it to your mobile, it also charges your phone, so no need to worry about having low battery. It really convenient to use dex program.

I bought this monitor to go with my Raspberry Pi. You need a fully functioning screen to go with this card-deck sized computer. The monitor is HDMI-res and comes with a full array of cables. I particularly like the USB to USB-C cable for power. You need to find a power source, it feeds off USB power from your computer. Another appendage is the HDMI cable (mini HDMI on the monitor side) to full HDMI for the computer side. Monitor comes with a really cool wire-frame monitor stand that can position the screen at various angles. Handy to carry along. I'd rate this a buy.

I'm a big fan of portable monitors, they are great for traveling or camping, I also use them with my mini PC to maintain a small footprint. This monitor is very light at about 4 lbs and has a very vibrant screen. It comes with a case/stand that attaches magnetically, USB power supply and cable along with hdmi cables.One nice feature is it has VESA screw holes on the back so you can mount it on a stand, just be aware as it's very light so you have to use a monitor stand that doesn't have a minimum weight limit as many are spring loaded.The case doubles as a stand and has 2 indents to hold the monitor at different angles. One thing that isn't very obvious is you can press the volume rocker on the side to enter the setup menu where there is a load of settings you can tweak if you desire. I set mine to Vivid mode to get more vibrant colors, there is also a gaming and movie mode.I hooked it up to my Switch and the games display very nicely, the sound isn't too bad as well, you can't expect big sound from the small built-in speakers. I would recommend pairing a Bluetooth speaker or headphones anyway to get much better sound.When you are done the monitor quickly packs up and is easily transportable. Would be a great complement as a 2nd screen to a laptop or even a desktop PC. I'll most likely use it to play games and watch movies on the go. I would definitely recommend this monitor as it combines a great lightweight display at an affordable price.

This monitor is incredible value. I was a bit skeptical that it could have all the features it has for such a low price. But when I received it everything worked as expected. I use a Macbook Air 2020 M1 for work. I frequently travel and have to work from various locations. Because the screen on my Macboook is small, I thought a portable screen would be perfect to extend my screen real estate while working away from my home office. I love the 2k resolution because it creates more screen space for me to work on. On my Mac I did have to adjust the resolution (Displays -> Scaled) and select the toggle that's called something like, "Show all resolutions". Once I pressed that I was able to select the 2k resolution. With 2k, everything is pretty small (such as text), but it's easy to zoom in and adjust the windows / scale to the right size. Although apparently it's recommended to use the power cable separately while extending your screen, I was able to use the included USB-C to USB-C cable to power and display from my Macbook. Of course it drains your Macbook battery faster, but if your Macbook is plugged in, you should be able to simply connect the monitor into the laptop and not the wall. I'm not an expert or anything so I don't know if there are any downsides to this approach for things battery longevity, etc. But so far it's worked well for me.I also bought this screen to use to watch videos from my phone while traveling. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. Initially I attempted to connect my phone and it didn't work. My device just acted like it was charging the monitor or being charged by the monitor. It didn't recognize the display. I contacted support and received a response within a day. I was recommended a cable that they promised to reimburse me for. I ordered it (HDMI to USB-C video cable) and with it, my phone recognized the monitor as a display but the monitor was still blank. After some troubleshooting, I found out the problem was with my phone, not the monitor. My phone's USB-C port is damaged so it only communicates power not video. I plugged my younger Brother's Galaxy S20 into the monitor and it worked immediately with both cables (the included USB-C to USB-C and the separately ordered HDMI to USB-C). I told this to support and they still offered to pay for the ordered cable. Today they reimbursed me as promised. I've never had customer service this good.Just a couple things on how the monitor works with a phone plugged in. First, if you have a phone similar to mine, you definitely have to plug the monitor into the wall as well. My brother's phone's power output definitely was not powerful enough to power the monitor. Even if it did, I'm sure the phone would be drained very quickly. Much to my surprise, my brother's Samsung phone got the full 2k resolution on the monitor when mirroring the phone (Galaxy S20). Amazing how powerful phones are nowadays. Another thing I was originally concerned about was whether the display would work with protected content, aka HDCP. If the monitor and cable do not support HDCP, you cannot watch most Netflix, Hulu, etc. shows when mirroring or extending. I tested this and using the included USB-C to USB-C and the later provided USB-C to HDMI video cable, I was able to view protected content on the display, so I assume it supports HDCP. Amazing!A quick note on other features. As other reviews have said, the speakers are not very good quality. But that's not at all what I bought it for. My Macbook's speakers are good and it's easy to connect headphones to the sources device. So I didn't care that they didn't sound good. Also, some have complained about the magnetic foldable case/mount. It's true that the magnet isn't super strong, but it mainly stays mounted fine on a stable surface. No problems for me here.Essentially, the monitor does what I wanted to do, and very gracefully. Very happy with my purchase and unbeatable value for the price. I'm looking forward to using this during travel.

I use this monitor to work from anywhere but home. I’m fully remote and sometimes my home office isn’t the best place for me to write or so busy work. So this monitor lets me be productive and other environments. It’s especially awesome that it only takes one cord to use and your laptop will keep it charged. Just be careful to keep it in the case at all times. I think the screen is pretty fragile. The customer service has been pretty good too.

I wish I'd had this in my life sooner. The 2k resolution looks fantastic. I've got it sitting next to a 32" 4K LG and the picture looks EXACTLY the same. The 2K is the perfect amount of pixels for this 13.3" monitor.Sound: I see in some reviews that the speakers aren't great. I will say this, it sounds like a little bluetooth speaker and gets the job done, and even sounds good for music though it lacks bass. I'm not complaining, though, because to use this for a portable xbox monitor and have game sounds without extra speakers getting dragged around, or for a portable work monitor it's fantastic for notification sounds.Connectivity: The monitor is powered by the USB C port to a normal USB A on a wall adapter or spare port on a computer/game system. I LOVE THIS. No extra power brick to tote around. Better yet, my laptop has Thunderbolt 3 ports, so only a single USB C to USB C cable (included in the box) is needed for both power and video. I also have the mini HDMI to HDMI for my home office setup and it works as expected.Screen case/stand: I'm left desiring a little more here. Unlike iPads that magnetically stick to the predefined spaces to angle the iPad, this monitor just rests and relies on friction to stay upright. I can't see this going well on a plane or maybe a boat where there's any bouncy movement. It will eventually rock itself flat from the movement. As far as quality, the flap is pretty good. It feels nice and offers nice protection while the monitor is covered by it. Lastly, it magnetically attaches to the back of the monitor in any placement, not just at the top/back but anywhere on the back. I like this overall, but if I had an improvement to recommend it would be the cover flap. The monitor itself is perfect and the VESA mount option is over the top.

This is a really well designed portable monitor stand.I tested it with my 15.6 inch portable monitor and it was really stable.You can also tighten the hinges with the included Allen wrench.There’s an area underneath the stand to store it, which is really convenient.What really astounding about this stand was that, it even worked with a 17.3 inch portable monitor, and was very stable.The monitor can be rotated 360 degrees for a vertical or horizontal orientation.Highly recommended.

I really like this monitor! It is the same size as my laptop and can easily fit together into my backpack. I like the fact it comes with a protector that can also serve as a stand. I typically use 3 monitors in the office. And I was able to use it as a 3rd screen when working from home. Customer service is great! Great follow up and quick response. They seem to want to ensure that the purchaser is happy with the product.

This is a great little monitor, I’m using it mainly with my Switch and the video quality is amazing. I’m getting no input lag and that’s a must for me when it comes to gaming. Built in speakers have good audio but I play with headphones plugged in through the audio jack. It folds shut into a protective cover which is a nice plus for traveling. If you’re in the market for a cheap portable monitor that’s great for gaming, look no further.

I spend a lot of my spare time evaluating single board computers (Raspberry PI. Banana Pi, Orange Pi, Odroid, Onion, Pine 64, etc.). I have tried various solutions: HD TVs in a hotel room, transporting an HD display in my luggage and even purchasing a small-screen HDTV locally. (Sometimes, I have had to use a 7" - 10" display which required the connection of a video driver card with an HDMI input. ) None of these have been an acceptable long-term solution.Recently I read the descriptions of a number of small-screen displays and monitors on Amazon and decided that this product would be worth a trial. According to the product description, this monitor appeared to have all the features of a full-sized desktop monitor, but in an incredibly compact form factor.The product arrived in a well-designed package, which included good protection for the monitor itself and space below for the MiniHDMI Cable, the MicroUSB Power Cable, Power Adapter and compact, adjustable, easel-like stand. (Also included, was a simple, but detailed, instruction pamphlet.)My first surprise when I removed the monitor was the weight of the unit. I had expected something light and flimsy, like the typical 7" touch screen displays which I had used before. Instead, this monitor is constructed within a sturdy aluminum frame. It is similar in size and shape to an iPad Mini, but without the weight of a battery.On the rear panel are mounting keyholes to allow for mounting flexibility. In addition, there are two ports for the built-in speakers. On the left edge, there are jacks for the MiniHDMI connection, 3.5mm Headphone output and MicroUSB Power input. On the right side, there are buttons for: Power On/Off; Menu; Down; Up and Exit. The onscreen menu layout is like that on any typical desktop monitor, so there is no need to learn a new process.In order to test the monitor, I connected it to the HDMI output port of an Odroid N2 SBC and applied power to both devices. Within a few seconds, the Odroid had booted to the Ubuntu MATE desktop in an HD format. The screen display was clear and bright and just like the 22" Dell HDMI monitor that was sitting on my desk. When I moved the mouse pointer arrow to the upper left corner to the MATE menu, there was no latency in terms of the display of the menus or submenus. I was mildly surprised by “key clicks" coming from the speakers, as I had no external speakers connected.Using this Newsoul monitor for the first time indicated to me that it should work properly with any HDMI source. There was no requirement to download a driver. There was no requirement to adjust any Linux parameter in the OS. It just works! I did check the various adjustments in the monitor menu, and they all seemed to work appropriately. (The Aspect Ratio defaults to HD, but 4 X 3 is also an option.)Overall, this monitor is built as though they had taken a full-sized HDMI monitor and somehow magically shrunk it down to 7"! I exchanged emails with the manufacturer as they tried to trouble shoot the issue. Finally, after about a week, their recommendation was to initiate a return/replacement with Amazon. The Amazon process was incredibly easy! I received an advance replacement within a few days and the physical return process was very simple.The replacement display has worked flawlessly!It is good to work with a manufacturer who takes responsibility for Customer Service with their products.

I have a Galaxy A52. If you do, too, you're out of luck: a connection to this screen isn't recognized by the Galaxy A series as anything but a charging cable. That's my phone's fault, but also this store's fault for not LISTING THE FEW PHONES THAT ARE LISTED IN THE MANUAL here. Wasting some people's time and our great civilization's shipping costs when the customer returns it. Otherwise, it's working fine as a second monitor for Windows.Also, what kind of touch screen doesn't support long press??Update: I GOT A NEW PHONE and it STILL doesn't work right because now that I have the screen mirroring capability, THIS SCREEN IS INCAPABLE OF RECOGNIZING MY PHONE IS IN PORTRAIT MODE AND APPROPRIATELY FLIPPING ITS OWN SCREEN. It has no capability to do so. This is for an S22 Ultra.There's not even touch capacity. It's just a phone screen turned sideways that I can only interact with via my phone.I actually feel a bit betrayed.

Initially all the Settings could be changed. Then I went back to adjust the brightness and contrast, but could no longer scroll to those settings. I returned it, since I could not change the Settings after about 5 min of use.

This portable monitor has been fantastic to use for the times im working from home. It's a great price and use compared to anything else in this price range and higher.It has built in speakers, a Full HMDI input, 2 USB c ports, a Volume knob and headphone jack.(take that iphone)As you can see from the pictures i've tested it out with various devices including my Steam deck (also shows its size to scale) My phone and a macbook air, all worked flawlessly with no issues, picture looks great and can be tuned in the monitor built in settings.The customer support has also been extremely positive so far and reaches out to you frequency to make sure you're satisfied

This monitor was just the right size for me and I love the 2560x1600 resolution. Color looks great to me and the speaker is okay. It comes with a magnetic case that is also a stand. It works okay but I needed something with more stability and adjustable angles. I contacted their customer service and they were able to answer and address all questions and concerns quickly. They also sent me a VESA stand that was exactly what I needed. Great product and exceptional customer service!

I work an office job that requires travel from time to time and I always found it to be very hard to be productive without my home 34 inch ultra wide monitor. While this is not quite as big, it’s the best thing I could ask for when I travel. It is compact, the feel of it is premium, it is light and packs away unnoticeable in my backpack. Being able to display and power the monitor using a single usb-c cable is great—I bought a mini 3 inch usb-c to usb-c cable connector which leaves virtually no cable tangling in your workspace. The brightness is far brighter than I had with other portable screens and the i enjoyed the breath of the other settings too (including a blue light reducer!) I also enjoy the screen cover—since it’s magnetically attached to the back of the monitor, you can move it up or down to reposition the monitor an additional 20-40 degrees. Lastly, the pen hole is surprisingly handy—I had my doubts that a single pen would be able to hold up the monitor, but it works like a charm!

I have purchased numerous monitors for my custom arcade machine, never quite happy but limited in size to 19 inches or less. Then I purchased this on a whim, and it is literally a game changer! Virtually the same viewable area as the 19 inch it replaced, but WOW the picture is great, refresh is great, and viewing angle is excellent in ALL directions. Build quality and packaging seem well beyond the price. Only negative is that it is a little dim, and colors are slightly muted. I am sure with some adjustment I could fix a bit, but frankly on balance the picture out of the box is really great and I am just leaving it alone.

This is my 2nd portable monitor. It’s the perfect size for taking with a laptop. I really like that it is vesa mountable. My past portable monitors didn’t have that feature. Super lightweight, seems good. I’ll update if o have any issues.

Not all portable monitors have vesa mounting holes. Which was important for us when setting up a home office. It’s super light and easy to plug in to a laptop real quick. Text is crisp and the screen is pretty bright. Seems durable, and I put it in a old laptop case when I’m moving it around. Overall I am pretty happy with it.

On 6/15/22, I purchased this monitor as a 2nd screen for my MacBook Air. The screen was good for about 3 weeks, then I noticed a hairline crack, even though I didn't drop the screen. The crack got bigger over time; and ended up extending across the entire screen. I wrote a review about it; and immediately a rep from Newsoul contacted me and offered a replacement screen. I accepted and received the replacement screen around 7/30/22. Unfortunately almost immediately the screen started flashing lights. I tried different cables, but the flashing lights didn't disappear. Then less than 2 weeks after I receive the replacement, my screen went dark for no reason every 2-5 minutes. I would need to unplug/plug cable; or jiggle the screen to try to revive the screen. But the frequency and length of screen going dark is increasing, so most likely I don't expect the screen will last much longer.So in conclusion, although customer service is very responsive and helpful, I would not recommend this product due to quality issues.

This monitor was exactly what I was looking for. I love the 2560x1600 resolution. Color is good and audio is okay. Customer service is great! I had a few questions and they were able to respond in a timely manner. The monitor also comes with a magnetic case that is also a stand. I use this primarily as a second screen to my laptop but I did try to connect to my mobile devices and it works also. It’s got all the connections I need and I don’t have to connect it to an external power supply.

Originally I was planning to just use this monitor while traveling on WFH stuff but this is such a big monitor I’ve been using it as one of my primary displays even at home. It’s really clear, smooth, and bright. I don’t notice any input lag when using it, and it’s great that just a single USB port can power the display and drive the image as well. It’s also nice that it feels sturdy and looks so sleek, along with the nice case/stand.Would definitely recommend if you’d like a great portable monitor that can double as a main display even at home.

Scored this monitor for $139.99 after $20 coupon at checkout. Can't beat what you get for the price. It's an upgrade from my previous FHD 15.6" with modestly better specs but overall, more than a modest upgrade when I switched out monitors and put it through its paces. Nice picture quality at 500 nits and easy on the eyes. Decent build quality and feel. USB-C/USB-C works like a charm off a single cable for power and video. No issues with HDMI/HDMI connections from laptop or using Lightning adapter from iPhone--just need to power the monitor separately. Dial wheel is a bit cumbersome but once the monitor is set up, no need to keep making adjustments.

The 16:10 monitor is a dying breed, and the few that are on the market suck because the 2560x1600 resolution is being stretched across a 30 inch screen. Smaller = better DPIHowever, mid-2022 is a game changer with the new 16 inch screen that popped up. There is also a 13.3 inch cousin if you want something more tablet-like.I personally got Newsoul's version, instead of uPerfect's. Both companies sold the same monitor, but the hardware was a bit different.Pros1) Newsoul used a fullsized HDMI 2.0 port (uPerfect used a mini-HDMI)2) 188 dpi = nice screen3) comes with 75x75 vesa mount holes4) super light (under 2 pounds)Cons1) the speakers suck because the sound comes out from one side only2) lacks displayport3) says it's a 10-bit color screen, but my PC's GPU tells me it's 8-bit. I suspect the monitor uses FRC, but I'm not sure how you can check for that feature4) doesn't come with vesa screws. It says they use m4 x 4mm screws, but those don't exist, so I contacted Newsoul about it, and they said use 6mm length screws.5) the lightweight screen makes it impossible to use with gas-spring monitor armsOverall, the screen is nice, and I have two for a dual-monitor setup (still working on that), and I plan to get a third for a laptop-like PC I'm planning to build next.
