Will brightness settings be saved when the monitor is completely disconnected and then reconnected again or do you have to set them every time it is p

Hi Eric, thanks for contacting us! As this monitor is 2k with 500 nits brightness, please add an extra power supply for the monitor, in that way you can save the brightness. My phone is HUAWEI MATE 30 PRO, its battery is very big and can save brightness settings via only one usb c to usb c cable. Hope you can understand. Audio was working through builtin speakers, but after adjusting the volume, it crackled and then no more audio. this is via hdmi on rpi4b. any ideas?

I did not have that problem. Been playing YouTube videos on mine. Check your HDMI cable, I have notice some are not made very well.

will this screen time out if my OS is left to never sleep? I ordered another screen that is turning off after 15 minutes

Do you sell a protective case for the 7" touchscreen

can i use drawing stylus pen for this monitor?

Depends on the stylus... It is a Touchscreen but not all stylus are tuned to screen sensor. You'll need to experiment. Stylus needs to mimick electrical properties of fingers. Samsung stylus are Samsung specific. Generic spongy flanged tips may work due to capacitive coupling properties that closely resemble human skin elec properties

Using the monitor with a desktop pc running windows 11. the touch function does not work. what do i need to do?

Does this work with DeX, specifically the touch interface?

The monitor is capative touch screen. The pen is electronic conductive. So the pressure level sensing stylus pen doesn't work.

I want to mount this in my car dashboard what are the temperature ranges for this?

Don’t do it unless you plan to remove it out. It is a screen that will get warm over time and in direct sun you will probably eventually damage it.

What is the environment temperature rating for this product?

What cable is required to power this monitor from a usb-c?

Hello, thanks for your question. Sorry, you cannot use the computer's USB C port to power the monitor. The 15.6" touch monitor does not have a USB A/C port. But we have specially equipped it with an AC/DC power adapter. If you lose or damage the power adapter, please contact our by email (support@newsoul.store), and send your order number, then we will send you a replacement.

Does this screen have a glass screen? Does anyone know the hardness of the screen?

Was this supposed to come with a stand? I am having serious difficult using the touchscreen without the monitor falling over.

Mine came with a back cover that can be used but if you push too hard will fall so I purchased a separate tablet stand so that it doesn't fall down and cost less than $20.

This 16" 2K Monitor is a great value and is feature rich. It includes a very versatile leatherette magnetic desktop case, east to use controls and a high quality image. A single toggle on the side gets you to all menu features and setting menus, very intuitive and fast settings.I like how light this is and how easily it is to connect. All the cables needed are included and the instructions do a good job outlining the settings and adjustments.Includes a nice 100mm VESA mounting holes on the back to allow any VESA bracket to be used.THe screen is bright, clear and has very good resolution. This portable monitor has been fantastic to use for the times im working from home. It's a great price and use compared to anything else in this price range and higher.It has built in speakers, a Full HMDI input, 2 USB c ports, a Volume knob and headphone jack.(take that iphone)As you can see from the pictures i've tested it out with various devices including my Steam deck (also shows its size to scale) My phone and a macbook air, all worked flawlessly with no issues, picture looks great and can be tuned in the monitor built in settings.The customer support has also been extremely positive so far and reaches out to you frequency to make sure you're satisfied

I needed a small monitor for a second machine on my desk. This seemed nice, and the touchscreen was a bonus. I wasn't actually expecting it to be as nice as it is -- it's super thin and the (faux) leather carrying case is functional. The display is great; bright, sharp, and responsive. I'm actually going to start carrying this around as a second monitor for my laptop for work travel.Would be nice if it could work off a single USB-C cable for everything (power + video + touch), as right now it requires 2 or 3 cables plugged in including uncommon mini-HDMI. But once everything's plugged in, it works great.

Not all portable monitors have vesa mounting holes. Which was important for us when setting up a home office. It’s super light and easy to plug in to a laptop real quick. Text is crisp and the screen is pretty bright. Seems durable, and I put it in a old laptop case when I’m moving it around. Overall I am pretty happy with it.

I purchased this in addition to two other 15.6 inch touch screens that I also bought from Newsoul. The 13.3 inch monitor is packaged nicely and comes with a variety of cables for your specific need (HDMI, USB-C, DP). The screen size serves a very niche market for those minimalist folks who want to save extra desk space, and it is very easy to carry around. The ports are set up on the side which made it very easy to insert. The customer service is extremely helpful. I received my adapter the next day from an additional request as I wanted to project my phone onto the screen. Overall I highly recommend this product. I work an office job that requires travel from time to time and I always found it to be very hard to be productive without my home 34 inch ultra wide monitor. While this is not quite as big, it’s the best thing I could ask for when I travel. It is compact, the feel of it is premium, it is light and packs away unnoticeable in my backpack. Being able to display and power the monitor using a single usb-c cable is great—I bought a mini 3 inch usb-c to usb-c cable connector which leaves virtually no cable tangling in your workspace. The brightness is far brighter than I had with other portable screens and the i enjoyed the breath of the other settings too (including a blue light reducer!) I also enjoy the screen cover—since it’s magnetically attached to the back of the monitor, you can move it up or down to reposition the monitor an additional 20-40 degrees. Lastly, the pen hole is surprisingly handy—I had my doubts that a single pen would be able to hold up the monitor, but it works like a charm!

This is a great little monitor, I’m using it mainly with my Switch and the video quality is amazing. I’m getting no input lag and that’s a must for me when it comes to gaming. Built in speakers have good audio but I play with headphones plugged in through the audio jack. It folds shut into a protective cover which is a nice plus for traveling. If you’re in the market for a cheap portable monitor that’s great for gaming, look no further.

It worked great the first few times I used it. The screen looked great and the touch feature was accurate. The last time I was using it I went to adjust the stand on the back. I was adjusting it to portrait and rotating the stand when a menu popped up on the screen. I think it said HDMI, USB-C and USB. Next thing I know the screen went blue and said No Signal. That's all I get now. I've tried pressing the one button and playing with the jog wheel with no way to recreate the menu. My computer still recognizes it as plugged in and shows it as an additional monitor, I just can't actually use it. The only web site I find is an unfinished WordPress theme, so no actual tech support. I now have a very expensive brick.

Best laptop extra monitor I have found at a decent price. The colors and brightness of this display are excellent. Setup was a breeze, completely up and running in 10 minutes. Lots of menu options and straight forward connections that make setup and use a easy task. I took this with me to work off site at Starbucks and had more comments then I expected. I probably helped sell a few of these just in this one visit. The pictures do not do it justice, my iphone camera is great but the ambient light was a struggle to get a true quality picture.

Update:So, after reading my review below, Uperfect contacted me about my experience with the product. By this time, I had returned both the original and the replacement monitors.They offered a replacement monitor of a different model, and I accepted it. Honestly this monitor is not perfect either, but it's better than the 17" display, and I am genuinely impressed with the lenghts this company is willing to go for customer satisfaction.I'm giving five stars for an excellent company who will stand by their product, and no stars for the actual product. My original review regarding the product is below:The colors are terrible. I thought I had a bad unit at first, got a replacement shipped in and the second monitor was identically terrible. The product quality is consistent. Consistently bad.In my attached picture, this monitor is on the top right corner. Notice that the color red looks way more yellow than it should. It's not just red that's affected either: Blue looks like light blue, while green is also more pale and yellow than it should be. With an advertised 100% sRGB color rating, this is not good.That said, if you're willing to overlook the screen, everything else is pretty good.

First, the display monitor and accessories were well packaged and made of high quality.It was very easy to connect this monitor to my laptop and configure it to be extended or duplicate. Just connect the provided HDMI or USB cable, power cord, and you’re done.There’s wall mounting bracket hardware that allows you to easily attach the display to the wall and remove it for on the go!The display quality is excellent. Sharp contrast, bright colors, and no flicker observed.I’m not a gamer but this display should work fine with gaming devices.Overall great display for portability - at home or on the move with a laptop.

Scored this monitor for $139.99 after $20 coupon at checkout. Can't beat what you get for the price. It's an upgrade from my previous FHD 15.6" with modestly better specs but overall, more than a modest upgrade when I switched out monitors and put it through its paces. Nice picture quality at 500 nits and easy on the eyes. Decent build quality and feel. USB-C/USB-C works like a charm off a single cable for power and video. No issues with HDMI/HDMI connections from laptop or using Lightning adapter from iPhone--just need to power the monitor separately. Dial wheel is a bit cumbersome but once the monitor is set up, no need to keep making adjustments.
