Will brightness settings be saved when the monitor is completely disconnected and then reconnected again or do you have to set them every time it is p

Hi Eric, thanks for contacting us! As this monitor is 2k with 500 nits brightness, please add an extra power supply for the monitor, in that way you can save the brightness. My phone is HUAWEI MATE 30 PRO, its battery is very big and can save brightness settings via only one usb c to usb c cable. Hope you can understand. is this a 7" or 15" monitor? The description says 15.6 but the screen size is listed as 7"? Which is it?

Audio was working through builtin speakers, but after adjusting the volume, it crackled and then no more audio. this is via hdmi on rpi4b. any ideas?

I did not have that problem. Been playing YouTube videos on mine. Check your HDMI cable, I have notice some are not made very well.

will this screen time out if my OS is left to never sleep? I ordered another screen that is turning off after 15 minutes

Hi, thanks for you contact. The monitor has only display functions. Generally, after connecting your computer, if your computer has been working, the monitor will also be working. Do you sell a protective case for the 7" touchscreen

I have not found one yet but just started to CAD one out that I can 3D print. Check Thingiverse to see if anyone has made one.

can i use drawing stylus pen for this monitor?

Depends on the stylus... It is a Touchscreen but not all stylus are tuned to screen sensor. You'll need to experiment. Stylus needs to mimick electrical properties of fingers. Samsung stylus are Samsung specific. Generic spongy flanged tips may work due to capacitive coupling properties that closely resemble human skin elec properties

Using the monitor with a desktop pc running windows 11. the touch function does not work. what do i need to do?

Does this work with DeX, specifically the touch interface?

The monitor is capative touch screen. The pen is electronic conductive. So the pressure level sensing stylus pen doesn't work.

I want to mount this in my car dashboard what are the temperature ranges for this?

Don’t do it unless you plan to remove it out. It is a screen that will get warm over time and in direct sun you will probably eventually damage it.

What is the environment temperature rating for this product?

Matte (anti-glare) or glossy (glare) screen?

What cable is required to power this monitor from a usb-c?

Hello, thanks for your question. Sorry, you cannot use the computer's USB C port to power the monitor. The 15.6" touch monitor does not have a USB A/C port. But we have specially equipped it with an AC/DC power adapter. If you lose or damage the power adapter, please contact our by email (support@newsoul.store), and send your order number, then we will send you a replacement.

Does this screen have a glass screen? Does anyone know the hardness of the screen?

Was this supposed to come with a stand? I am having serious difficult using the touchscreen without the monitor falling over.

Mine came with a back cover that can be used but if you push too hard will fall so I purchased a separate tablet stand so that it doesn't fall down and cost less than $20.

This 16" 2K Monitor is a great value and is feature rich. It includes a very versatile leatherette magnetic desktop case, east to use controls and a high quality image. A single toggle on the side gets you to all menu features and setting menus, very intuitive and fast settings.I like how light this is and how easily it is to connect. All the cables needed are included and the instructions do a good job outlining the settings and adjustments.Includes a nice 100mm VESA mounting holes on the back to allow any VESA bracket to be used.THe screen is bright, clear and has very good resolution. I got this to make my mini PC portable. I like that it has full size HDMI, the option of using usb-c for both power and signal instead (when using the correct port, though I probably won't use it that way). The cover lays flat for protection and slimness for transport, and folds up into a stand for use. I also like the option to connect my phone with OTG, but need some cables for that. Working good.

I purchased this in addition to two other 15.6 inch touch screens that I also bought from Newsoul. The 13.3 inch monitor is packaged nicely and comes with a variety of cables for your specific need (HDMI, USB-C, DP). The screen size serves a very niche market for those minimalist folks who want to save extra desk space, and it is very easy to carry around. The ports are set up on the side which made it very easy to insert. The customer service is extremely helpful. I received my adapter the next day from an additional request as I wanted to project my phone onto the screen. Overall I highly recommend this product. Scored this monitor for $139.99 after $20 coupon at checkout. Can't beat what you get for the price. It's an upgrade from my previous FHD 15.6" with modestly better specs but overall, more than a modest upgrade when I switched out monitors and put it through its paces. Nice picture quality at 500 nits and easy on the eyes. Decent build quality and feel. USB-C/USB-C works like a charm off a single cable for power and video. No issues with HDMI/HDMI connections from laptop or using Lightning adapter from iPhone--just need to power the monitor separately. Dial wheel is a bit cumbersome but once the monitor is set up, no need to keep making adjustments.

I wish I'd had this in my life sooner. The 2k resolution looks fantastic. I've got it sitting next to a 32" 4K LG and the picture looks EXACTLY the same. The 2K is the perfect amount of pixels for this 13.3" monitor.Sound: I see in some reviews that the speakers aren't great. I will say this, it sounds like a little bluetooth speaker and gets the job done, and even sounds good for music though it lacks bass. I'm not complaining, though, because to use this for a portable xbox monitor and have game sounds without extra speakers getting dragged around, or for a portable work monitor it's fantastic for notification sounds.Connectivity: The monitor is powered by the USB C port to a normal USB A on a wall adapter or spare port on a computer/game system. I LOVE THIS. No extra power brick to tote around. Better yet, my laptop has Thunderbolt 3 ports, so only a single USB C to USB C cable (included in the box) is needed for both power and video. I also have the mini HDMI to HDMI for my home office setup and it works as expected.Screen case/stand: I'm left desiring a little more here. Unlike iPads that magnetically stick to the predefined spaces to angle the iPad, this monitor just rests and relies on friction to stay upright. I can't see this going well on a plane or maybe a boat where there's any bouncy movement. It will eventually rock itself flat from the movement. As far as quality, the flap is pretty good. It feels nice and offers nice protection while the monitor is covered by it. Lastly, it magnetically attaches to the back of the monitor in any placement, not just at the top/back but anywhere on the back. I like this overall, but if I had an improvement to recommend it would be the cover flap. The monitor itself is perfect and the VESA mount option is over the top.

I'm pairing this with my Microsoft Surface Book 2 15in for work and productivity on the go and office. While at 13in it's smaller than my laptop screen, my preference was for a compact screen that was more portable and lighter.What surprised me most was how thin and easy to pair it was. It essentially looks and feels like an android tablet. You get everything you need out of the box to ensure you can pair it to most devices extremely simply. Pairing it was as simple as connecting the USB C to USB wire from the monitor to my laptop. I didn't need to use the charger provided at all. No additional setup or software was needed. I tweaked the color and brightness a bit from the settings on the monitor itself to more closely match the laptop, but aside from that, it was good.I wanted a touch monitor as it paired well with my touch screen experience I was already used to. It's great to be able to pinch to zoom and scroll with gestures. The folio/tent cover allows you to get your preferred viewing angle while also being a screen protector when not in use.

Best laptop extra monitor I have found at a decent price. The colors and brightness of this display are excellent. Setup was a breeze, completely up and running in 10 minutes. Lots of menu options and straight forward connections that make setup and use a easy task. I took this with me to work off site at Starbucks and had more comments then I expected. I probably helped sell a few of these just in this one visit. The pictures do not do it justice, my iphone camera is great but the ambient light was a struggle to get a true quality picture.

This monitor was just the right size for me and I love the 2560x1600 resolution. Color looks great to me and the speaker is okay. It comes with a magnetic case that is also a stand. It works okay but I needed something with more stability and adjustable angles. I contacted their customer service and they were able to answer and address all questions and concerns quickly. They also sent me a VESA stand that was exactly what I needed. Great product and exceptional customer service!

Not all portable monitors have vesa mounting holes. Which was important for us when setting up a home office. It’s super light and easy to plug in to a laptop real quick. Text is crisp and the screen is pretty bright. Seems durable, and I put it in a old laptop case when I’m moving it around. Overall I am pretty happy with it.

It worked great the first few times I used it. The screen looked great and the touch feature was accurate. The last time I was using it I went to adjust the stand on the back. I was adjusting it to portrait and rotating the stand when a menu popped up on the screen. I think it said HDMI, USB-C and USB. Next thing I know the screen went blue and said No Signal. That's all I get now. I've tried pressing the one button and playing with the jog wheel with no way to recreate the menu. My computer still recognizes it as plugged in and shows it as an additional monitor, I just can't actually use it. The only web site I find is an unfinished WordPress theme, so no actual tech support. I now have a very expensive brick.

I wanted to have a smaller work station at my dining room table so I can easily pack it up at the end of the day, so I bought this portable monitor, along with a keyboard and mouse and and stands for my monitor and laptop - all from Amazon.I don’t consider myself tech savvy, and I got it all out of the boxes and set up with my HP Elitebook in about 10-15 minutes. The monitor alone took a couple minutes. So easy.The monitor, is thin, light, great size and has a nice carrying case for travel. The color resolution is not the best, but good enough for my purposes. Speakers are nice if you need them.

Initially all the Settings could be changed. Then I went back to adjust the brightness and contrast, but could no longer scroll to those settings. I returned it, since I could not change the Settings after about 5 min of use.
