Will this work with the Samsung S10e?

We checked the Samsung S10e has type C function port, it can be connected to the monitor via type C-C cable, as the monitor need 5V 3A voltage input and the Samsung S10e seems can not provide enough 5V 3A power support for the monitor via type C cable, so the monitor may need an external power supply via PD charger. How do you activate the on-screen display (osd)!? manual says short press of power button & swipe down with 2 fingers in right corner. not for me!

Don't remember where I found the instructions but... Turn on the monitor first (hold power button a few seconds) Then hold the [Brightness +] for a few seconds for the main OSD menu. Volume + for input menu You'll have to wait for the volume+- display indicator to disappear before trying to open the OSD.

will this screen time out if my OS is left to never sleep? I ordered another screen that is turning off after 15 minutes

Depends on the stylus... It is a Touchscreen but not all stylus are tuned to screen sensor. You'll need to experiment. Stylus needs to mimick electrical properties of fingers. Samsung stylus are Samsung specific. Generic spongy flanged tips may work due to capacitive coupling properties that closely resemble human skin elec properties

Plug in power adaptor required, or can it be powered by USB?

I would imagine it would work just fine...don't have a Pi 400, but the ports should work on any computer.

My phone is HUAWEI MATE 30 PRO, its battery is very big and can save brightness settings via only one usb c to usb c cable. Hope you can understand. Can this monitor be mounted?

Was this supposed to come with a stand? I am having serious difficult using the touchscreen without the monitor falling over.

Mine came with a back cover that can be used but if you push too hard will fall so I purchased a separate tablet stand so that it doesn't fall down and cost less than $20.

Hello, thanks for your question. Sorry, you cannot use the computer's USB C port to power the monitor. The 15.6" touch monitor does not have a USB A/C port. But we have specially equipped it with an AC/DC power adapter. can this bt powered via microusb to use inside a PC for monitoring temp, clocks etc?

I have it running off micro usb putting out 5 volts, if that helps.

Don’t do it unless you plan to remove it out. It is a screen that will get warm over time and in direct sun you will probably eventually damage it.

This monitor was exactly what I was looking for. I love the 2560x1600 resolution. Color is good and audio is okay. Customer service is great! I use this primarily as a second screen to my laptop but I did try to connect to my mobile devices and it works also. The 16:10 monitor is a dying breed, and the few that are on the market suck because the 2560x1600 resolution is being stretched across a 30 inch screen. Smaller = better DPIHowever, mid-2022 is a game changer with the new 16 inch screen that popped up. There is also a 13.3 inch cousin if you want something more tablet-like.I personally got Newsoul's version, instead of uPerfect's. Both companies sold the same monitor, but the hardware was a bit different.Pros1) Newsoul used a fullsized HDMI 2.0 port (uPerfect used a mini-HDMI)2) 188 dpi = nice screen3) comes with 75x75 vesa mount holes4) super light (under 2 pounds)Cons1) the speakers suck because the sound comes out from one side only2) lacks displayport3) says it's a 10-bit color screen, but my PC's GPU tells me it's 8-bit. I suspect the monitor uses FRC, but I'm not sure how you can check for that feature4) doesn't come with vesa screws. I’ve been giving this monitor a thorough testing by using it with my touchscreen laptop, my traditional laptop, my iPhone and my Nintendo Switch. It does not disappoint!! It has a nice magnetic case/cover with it, and every cord you could possibly need. But it’s super easy to use with the type-c cord, so you may not need any of the extras that they supply you with anyway. With the built in battery, no extra power cord is needed! It holds the charge for a fairly long time, but of course that will depend on your use. Speakers are pretty good. Picture quality is excellent! The only con that I’ve found is that the navigation for the On Screen Display (OSD) menu to adjust picture/color/advanced settings is not intuitive. It’s not a touchscreen menu, and is controlled by the Brightness/Volume rocker buttons, which takes some getting used to. But once I adjusted the settings to my liking, I don’t think I’ll need to navigate through it again anyway. If you’re looking for a touch screen portable monitor, don’t hesitate to scoop this one up. The overall quality of the monitor is really great, feels nice and solid. I've had the chance to use it with a couple of my devices and having it powered different ways. It works great connected to my Xbox and being powered from it too, but not sure why it has problems staying powered on when connected to my Laptop, the display will power off irregularity even when powered from the type c port of my laptop. It can be powered by a portable charger, but even with a 20000 mha charger, I got around a few hours before it died. The sound is okay but it's what I expected from a portable monitor.

It came with a monitor user manual that was easy to understand. I love the touchscreen capability. The monitor was super thin, lightweight and I love it. The sleeve is beautiful but I haven't figured out how to fold it so I won't need the stand provided. I figure something out when I forget the stand at home. It worked great the first few times I used it. The screen looked great and the touch feature was accurate. The last time I was using it I went to adjust the stand on the back. I was adjusting it to portrait and rotating the stand when a menu popped up on the screen. I think it said HDMI, USB-C and USB. Next thing I know the screen went blue and said No Signal. That's all I get now. I've tried pressing the one button and playing with the jog wheel with no way to recreate the menu. My computer still recognizes it as plugged in and shows it as an additional monitor, I just can't actually use it. The only web site I find is an unfinished WordPress theme, so no actual tech support. I now have a very expensive brick.

Scored this monitor for $139.99 after $20 coupon at checkout. Can't beat what you get for the price. It's an upgrade from my previous FHD 15.6" with modestly better specs but overall, more than a modest upgrade when I switched out monitors and put it through its paces. Nice picture quality at 500 nits and easy on the eyes. Decent build quality and feel. USB-C/USB-C works like a charm off a single cable for power and video. No issues with HDMI/HDMI connections from laptop or using Lightning adapter from iPhone--just need to power the monitor separately. Dial wheel is a bit cumbersome but once the monitor is set up, no need to keep making adjustments.

I have a Galaxy A52. If you do, too, you're out of luck: a connection to this screen isn't recognized by the Galaxy A series as anything but a charging cable. That's my phone's fault, but also this store's fault for not LISTING THE FEW PHONES THAT ARE LISTED IN THE MANUAL here. Wasting some people's time and our great civilization's shipping costs when the customer returns it. The screen is not 100% srgb at all acoording to my test equipments. It was 96% at hdr and awfully 26% srgb when hdr was off. As hdr function is doubtful. As i runned battle field 5 with hdr on. The saturation way why off. I cant even see my in game profile picture

works great. built in speaker is pretty terrible, but that's expected. VESA is 75x75, I believe the screw size needed is M2. While I use it as a 2nd/3rd monitor next to my 24" 1440p display, I spun up borderlands 3 for a few minutes to see how it looks. While I think the size is a little small to use for gaming primarily, it's clean enough to play games on casually. I can see it being handy if someone wants a clean portable monitor for a travel PC. be warned when turning off a pc that's connected to it, the default "no signal" screen is a BRIGHT shade of blue, but that turns off in a few seconds. overall, cannot recommend enough for the VESA, which as far as i am aware, no other monitors in this size/resolution range has.

This 16" 2K Monitor is a great value and is feature rich. It includes a very versatile leatherette magnetic desktop case, east to use controls and a high quality image. A single toggle on the side gets you to all menu features and setting menus, very intuitive and fast settings.I like how light this is and how easily it is to connect. All the cables needed are included and the instructions do a good job outlining the settings and adjustments.Includes a nice 100mm VESA mounting holes on the back to allow any VESA bracket to be used.THe screen is bright, clear and has very good resolution. If there was a 6 star review I would rate it there.

I bought this monitor to go with my Raspberry Pi. You need a fully functioning screen to go with this card-deck sized computer. The monitor is HDMI-res and comes with a full array of cables. I particularly like the USB to USB-C cable for power. You need to find a power source, it feeds off USB power from your computer. Another appendage is the HDMI cable (mini HDMI on the monitor side) to full HDMI for the computer side. Monitor comes with a really cool wire-frame monitor stand that can position the screen at various angles. Handy to carry along. I'd rate this a buy.

Emphasis on the "little"; you're not gonna be using this screen for your main dev work, but for the right project (say, an Internet radio or alarm clock) it's perfect. The documentation is a little wanting, but that's true of just about anything Raspberry Pi, I'm afraid. (Specifically, more about how the touchscreen digitizer works would be welcome.) Overall, recommended!EDIT: This is no longer the same monitor I reviewed in 2019. These people are recycling their Amazon ASINs, which is a major no-no. Too bad, too, because what's currently there now looks pretty cool.

Not all portable monitors have vesa mounting holes. Which was important for us when setting up a home office. It’s super light and easy to plug in to a laptop real quick. Text is crisp and the screen is pretty bright. Seems durable, and I put it in a old laptop case when I’m moving it around. Overall I am pretty happy with it.

I am sad since I was super excited to have a PORTABLE monitor. It’s not portable.Pros: -The picture quality is great .-It is light weight .Cons:- it Must be plugged in to an electrical wall outlet AND what ever device you are using . So it is NOT portable . I wanted to have a smaller work station at my dining room table so I can easily pack it up at the end of the day, so I bought this portable monitor, along with a keyboard and mouse and and stands for my monitor and laptop - all from Amazon.I don’t consider myself tech savvy, and I got it all out of the boxes and set up with my HP Elitebook in about 10-15 minutes. The monitor alone took a couple minutes. So easy.The monitor, is thin, light, great size and has a nice carrying case for travel. The color resolution is not the best, but good enough for my purposes. Speakers are nice if you need them.

I purchased this in addition to two other 15.6 inch touch screens that I also bought from Newsoul. The 13.3 inch monitor is packaged nicely and comes with a variety of cables for your specific need (HDMI, USB-C, DP). The screen size serves a very niche market for those minimalist folks who want to save extra desk space, and it is very easy to carry around. The ports are set up on the side which made it very easy to insert. The customer service is extremely helpful. I received my adapter the next day from an additional request as I wanted to project my phone onto the screen. Overall I highly recommend this product. Pros:perfect size for portability without being to small.Comes with cords to connect several different types of devicesSeems pretty tough.Cons:Needs more selection of port types this only has 2 usb c and one mini hd slot (needs some older connection ports as well like hdmi and maybe usb 3.0. This change Would make it where I don’t have to change out my cord arsenal, or buy another adapter, just to use the thing.Screen cover/protector/case is pointless. And the instructions on how to use it are poorly written.Update: after a little further testing of this product I found it to have exceptional sound quality and it even has a built in kickstand for horizontal orientation. Furthermore, it also includes a cable adapter from hdmi to mini hd.Overall, great device and I would recommend it to a friend.

Meets all expectations. Lightweight but strong enoungh to be thrown into the sleeve in the backpack (along with its protective case). I turned up the brightness and all is very sharp and crisp. not lag.Am using just the single usb -c cable to connect. Power, Signal, and even Touch all on the one cable.I was worried Id need to use the deticated power cable as for other items such as small usb 'optionally/non powered/powered' usb home docking station I have .. the computer battery will slowly drain. but with this screen. after 2 hours and both screens turned up bright computer battery is at 100%.So far really happy with the purchase. arrived fast I will be a great asset when on the road or working at co-op desks.

I wish I'd had this in my life sooner. The 2k resolution looks fantastic. I've got it sitting next to a 32" 4K LG and the picture looks EXACTLY the same. The 2K is the perfect amount of pixels for this 13.3" monitor.Sound: I see in some reviews that the speakers aren't great. I will say this, it sounds like a little bluetooth speaker and gets the job done, and even sounds good for music though it lacks bass. I'm not complaining, though, because to use this for a portable xbox monitor and have game sounds without extra speakers getting dragged around, or for a portable work monitor it's fantastic for notification sounds.Connectivity: The monitor is powered by the USB C port to a normal USB A on a wall adapter or spare port on a computer/game system. I LOVE THIS. No extra power brick to tote around. Better yet, my laptop has Thunderbolt 3 ports, so only a single USB C to USB C cable (included in the box) is needed for both power and video. I also have the mini HDMI to HDMI for my home office setup and it works as expected.Screen case/stand: I'm left desiring a little more here. Unlike iPads that magnetically stick to the predefined spaces to angle the iPad, this monitor just rests and relies on friction to stay upright. I can't see this going well on a plane or maybe a boat where there's any bouncy movement. It will eventually rock itself flat from the movement. As far as quality, the flap is pretty good. It feels nice and offers nice protection while the monitor is covered by it. Lastly, it magnetically attaches to the back of the monitor in any placement, not just at the top/back but anywhere on the back. I like this overall, but if I had an improvement to recommend it would be the cover flap. The monitor itself is perfect and the VESA mount option is over the top.

Originally I was planning to just use this monitor while traveling on WFH stuff but this is such a big monitor I’ve been using it as one of my primary displays even at home. It’s really clear, smooth, and bright. I don’t notice any input lag when using it, and it’s great that just a single USB port can power the display and drive the image as well. It’s also nice that it feels sturdy and looks so sleek, along with the nice case/stand.Would definitely recommend if you’d like a great portable monitor that can double as a main display even at home.

I had the same issues the other reviewers had and that was that the touchscreen functionality requires a lot of power the monitor just can't produce based on the cables and power supply your given. I have returned and tried a few work arounds to to avail. The reason why I gave it 1 star is because I bought it as a touch screen and it fails to work as one without some special software update or special cables. Hardware should be simple plug and play. I did keep one of the two that I ordered as a monitor as its perfect size for home office. just wish the touch screen functionality wasn't complicated to turn on G-Story makes a perfect one .. I would have ordered another but they are out of them.

Foe everyone reading this, This is my 3rd Monitor from this seller. I was using an older version and they came out with this, I knew I had to get it. This setup helps with my mobile Dj. The brightness and color are amazing. Games are amazing on it as well. The unboxing experience is exciting. And they give you everything you need all cables included. I have purchased numerous monitors for my custom arcade machine, never quite happy but limited in size to 19 inches or less. Then I purchased this on a whim, and it is literally a game changer! Virtually the same viewable area as the 19 inch it replaced, but WOW the picture is great, refresh is great, and viewing angle is excellent in ALL directions. Build quality and packaging seem well beyond the price. Only negative is that it is a little dim, and colors are slightly muted. I am sure with some adjustment I could fix a bit, but frankly on balance the picture out of the box is really great and I am just leaving it alone.

There’s a lot of options for portable monitors. I have searched over 20 different brands and I found it is the best for value/features. The interface has buttons on the side to control settings and volume. This is more intuitive than the scroll wheel button used in other models. Sound is mediocre, I can play retro games on it, but for movies, then I recommend using external speakers. There is no logo with non-sensical English, which makes my desk setup more professional looking. The frame feels solid and gives a premium feel. The VESA has 4 holes to mount, other brands has only 2. The picture quality is within specifications of a 1080p monitor, so within my expectations.

Having bought a handful of portable monitors from Amazon, this definitely seems to be the best bang for buck, and one of the very few that have a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is very helpful and ideal as a secondary work monitor. The extra height compared to a 16:9, although minimal, does make it that much better.Picture quality: 5/5Overall picture quality is very good. Given the screen size of 16", 2560x1600 makes content look really sharp and text appears clear and legible. Overall color accuracy is pretty good as well, although I would not be using this for any type of professional media editing.There's also basic picture adjustments available, such as brightness, contrast, backlight, etc, but I left them all at default. As far as brightness goes, this monitor can get fairly bright. In normal ambient room light, I keep the backlight turned to 10 (out of 50), and it is plenty bright already. In an office setting, I usually turn up backlight to around 30 or 40.And even though this is marketed as having HDR, this monitor does not get bright enough to take advantage of HDR. SDR is more than good enough with this monitor.Build quality: 4.5/5The monitor itself is very light and thus makes it very portable. The folder/portfolio case that it comes with is handy as well. I would hesitate carrying this around by itself, as it doesn't look like it withstand much stress. If pair with a laptop to provide it more rigidity in bag, it should be fine. The VESA mount option is also very useful.Note: my first unit that I received was defective, as it kept flickering upon turning on. However, customer support was very helpful and exchanged a new unit for me within a few days. The new monitor is working perfectly.Price: 5/5This monitor hits the sweet spot at ~$150, and between the 4 portable monitors I purchased on Amazon, it is probably the best quality monitor for the price. While there are slightly cheaper options, they're mostly lower resolution or smaller in size. And for the ones with similar specs, they're almost a full 50% more expensive for not much more features other than maybe higher frame rates. A lot of them are also not 16:10.Overall, I think this is a great monitor. Although I use it primarily for work, I would not hesitate to use it occasionally as a portable screen to watch some movies or play some games. I would highly recommend, and the customer support is great is well.

I work an office job that requires travel from time to time and I always found it to be very hard to be productive without my home 34 inch ultra wide monitor. While this is not quite as big, it’s the best thing I could ask for when I travel. It is compact, the feel of it is premium, it is light and packs away unnoticeable in my backpack. Being able to display and power the monitor using a single usb-c cable is great—I bought a mini 3 inch usb-c to usb-c cable connector which leaves virtually no cable tangling in your workspace. The brightness is far brighter than I had with other portable screens and the i enjoyed the breath of the other settings too (including a blue light reducer!) I also enjoy the screen cover—since it’s magnetically attached to the back of the monitor, you can move it up or down to reposition the monitor an additional 20-40 degrees. Lastly, the pen hole is surprisingly handy—I had my doubts that a single pen would be able to hold up the monitor, but it works like a charm!

I'm a big fan of portable monitors, they are great for traveling or camping, I also use them with my mini PC to maintain a small footprint. This monitor is very light at about 4 lbs and has a very vibrant screen. It comes with a case/stand that attaches magnetically, USB power supply and cable along with hdmi cables.One nice feature is it has VESA screw holes on the back so you can mount it on a stand, just be aware as it's very light so you have to use a monitor stand that doesn't have a minimum weight limit as many are spring loaded.The case doubles as a stand and has 2 indents to hold the monitor at different angles. One thing that isn't very obvious is you can press the volume rocker on the side to enter the setup menu where there is a load of settings you can tweak if you desire. I set mine to Vivid mode to get more vibrant colors, there is also a gaming and movie mode.I hooked it up to my Switch and the games display very nicely, the sound isn't too bad as well, you can't expect big sound from the small built-in speakers. I would recommend pairing a Bluetooth speaker or headphones anyway to get much better sound.When you are done the monitor quickly packs up and is easily transportable. Would be a great complement as a 2nd screen to a laptop or even a desktop PC. I'll most likely use it to play games and watch movies on the go. I would definitely recommend this monitor as it combines a great lightweight display at an affordable price.

Solid 1080p IPS panel for traveling. It gets decently bright but I wouldn't recommendusing in direct sunlight. For the actual display quality, colors are as vivid as you'd expect of an IPS panel, definitely a step up from some gaming laptops, but definitely a bit lacking compared to panels used in the higher end laptops. I currently use it as a second monitor for Discord and Youtube and so far it's holding up. Not much to say about build quality as I've only had this for a week, but if you travel quite often or are looking for decent portable display, this one does the job.

This monitor is incredible value. I was a bit skeptical that it could have all the features it has for such a low price. But when I received it everything worked as expected. I use a Macbook Air 2020 M1 for work. I frequently travel and have to work from various locations. Because the screen on my Macboook is small, I thought a portable screen would be perfect to extend my screen real estate while working away from my home office. I love the 2k resolution because it creates more screen space for me to work on. On my Mac I did have to adjust the resolution (Displays -> Scaled) and select the toggle that's called something like, "Show all resolutions". Once I pressed that I was able to select the 2k resolution. With 2k, everything is pretty small (such as text), but it's easy to zoom in and adjust the windows / scale to the right size. Although apparently it's recommended to use the power cable separately while extending your screen, I was able to use the included USB-C to USB-C cable to power and display from my Macbook. Of course it drains your Macbook battery faster, but if your Macbook is plugged in, you should be able to simply connect the monitor into the laptop and not the wall. I'm not an expert or anything so I don't know if there are any downsides to this approach for things battery longevity, etc. But so far it's worked well for me.I also bought this screen to use to watch videos from my phone while traveling. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. Initially I attempted to connect my phone and it didn't work. My device just acted like it was charging the monitor or being charged by the monitor. It didn't recognize the display. I contacted support and received a response within a day. I was recommended a cable that they promised to reimburse me for. I ordered it (HDMI to USB-C video cable) and with it, my phone recognized the monitor as a display but the monitor was still blank. After some troubleshooting, I found out the problem was with my phone, not the monitor. My phone's USB-C port is damaged so it only communicates power not video. I plugged my younger Brother's Galaxy S20 into the monitor and it worked immediately with both cables (the included USB-C to USB-C and the separately ordered HDMI to USB-C). I told this to support and they still offered to pay for the ordered cable. Today they reimbursed me as promised. I've never had customer service this good.Just a couple things on how the monitor works with a phone plugged in. First, if you have a phone similar to mine, you definitely have to plug the monitor into the wall as well. My brother's phone's power output definitely was not powerful enough to power the monitor. Even if it did, I'm sure the phone would be drained very quickly. Much to my surprise, my brother's Samsung phone got the full 2k resolution on the monitor when mirroring the phone (Galaxy S20). Amazing how powerful phones are nowadays. Another thing I was originally concerned about was whether the display would work with protected content, aka HDCP. If the monitor and cable do not support HDCP, you cannot watch most Netflix, Hulu, etc. shows when mirroring or extending. I tested this and using the included USB-C to USB-C and the later provided USB-C to HDMI video cable, I was able to view protected content on the display, so I assume it supports HDCP. Amazing!A quick note on other features. As other reviews have said, the speakers are not very good quality. But that's not at all what I bought it for. My Macbook's speakers are good and it's easy to connect headphones to the sources device. So I didn't care that they didn't sound good. Also, some have complained about the magnetic foldable case/mount. It's true that the magnet isn't super strong, but it mainly stays mounted fine on a stable surface. No problems for me here.Essentially, the monitor does what I wanted to do, and very gracefully. Very happy with my purchase and unbeatable value for the price. I'm looking forward to using this during travel.
