The monitor has been great to use whether I am at a coffee shop needing a second screen. It’s great when I’m at work, but I want to go outside and work. It’s very easy to use, and the brand gives you plenty of cables to use. Highly recommend!

works great. built in speaker is pretty terrible, but that's expected. VESA is 75x75, I believe the screw size needed is M2. While I use it as a 2nd/3rd monitor next to my 24" 1440p display, I spun up borderlands 3 for a few minutes to see how it looks. While I think the size is a little small to use for gaming primarily, it's clean enough to play games on casually. I can see it being handy if someone wants a clean portable monitor for a travel PC. be warned when turning off a pc that's connected to it, the default "no signal" screen is a BRIGHT shade of blue, but that turns off in a few seconds. overall, cannot recommend enough for the VESA, which as far as i am aware, no other monitors in this size/resolution range has.

This has been a boon for my article and website reading. I use this monitor for reading PDFs and websites while I use my notebook screen for typing notes. The touchscreen is a bonus.

I bought this monitor to go with my Raspberry Pi. You need a fully functioning screen to go with this card-deck sized computer. The monitor is HDMI-res and comes with a full array of cables. I particularly like the USB to USB-C cable for power. You need to find a power source, it feeds off USB power from your computer. Another appendage is the HDMI cable (mini HDMI on the monitor side) to full HDMI for the computer side. Monitor comes with a really cool wire-frame monitor stand that can position the screen at various angles. Handy to carry along. I'd rate this a buy.

Good second monitor. Helps speed up programming tasks. Works with Raspberry pi. Love anti glare. Crisp audio!

Exactly what I was looking for. Nice matte finish screen, low glare. Picture looks great. Touch function is only Ok, not on par with something like an iPad, but gets the job done. Mine had a minor flaw in the machined aluminum edge on the left side. Not major, but enough to catch the light and notice. I don’t mind, as this will get lots of use and abuse, so more little marks will come. Feels substantial, but not excessively heavy. I got it specifically to play games on an exercise bike and for the kids to use with the Nintendo switch on trips.

Awesome touch monitor! Very high quality, the screen and included cables. Good touch response as well. Before VGA was 14" now it's 5 and works great.This display warrants adding more the the review later. I've wasted my money on other small resistive touch displays, I'm really appreciating the capacitive screen and the fact it doesn't look like I have an old gps screen on my desk.

I purchased this in addition to two other 15.6 inch touch screens that I also bought from Newsoul. The 13.3 inch monitor is packaged nicely and comes with a variety of cables for your specific need (HDMI, USB-C, DP). The screen size serves a very niche market for those minimalist folks who want to save extra desk space, and it is very easy to carry around. The ports are set up on the side which made it very easy to insert. The customer service is extremely helpful. I received my adapter the next day from an additional request as I wanted to project my phone onto the screen. Overall I highly recommend this product. The quality of Newsoul products has never disappointed.

Meets all expectations. Lightweight but strong enoungh to be thrown into the sleeve in the backpack (along with its protective case). I turned up the brightness and all is very sharp and crisp. not lag.Am using just the single usb -c cable to connect. Power, Signal, and even Touch all on the one cable.I was worried Id need to use the deticated power cable as for other items such as small usb 'optionally/non powered/powered' usb home docking station I have .. the computer battery will slowly drain. but with this screen. after 2 hours and both screens turned up bright computer battery is at 100%.So far really happy with the purchase. arrived fast I will be a great asset when on the road or working at co-op desks.

The screen is not 100% srgb at all acoording to my test equipments. It was 96% at hdr and awfully 26% srgb when hdr was off. As hdr function is doubtful. As i runned battle field 5 with hdr on. The saturation way why off. I cant even see my in game profile picture

I wanted to have a smaller work station at my dining room table so I can easily pack it up at the end of the day, so I bought this portable monitor, along with a keyboard and mouse and and stands for my monitor and laptop - all from Amazon.I don’t consider myself tech savvy, and I got it all out of the boxes and set up with my HP Elitebook in about 10-15 minutes. The monitor alone took a couple minutes. So easy.The monitor, is thin, light, great size and has a nice carrying case for travel. The color resolution is not the best, but good enough for my purposes. Speakers are nice if you need them.

Working great.The picture quality it is crisp and clear.The quality of the screen is nice for a 5 sensitive points but looks fragile just take care when you carry with you.The brightness is good for indoor for outdoor not too much because the screen is glossy.The volume is low but ok, I use the 3.5mm jack to connect my headphones or speakers.The Colorful Flowing Atmosphere Lights are very low I don't see the difference if is on or off :PBeen using for a month with my S10+ in mirror mode and Dex mode both working great, tested with a laptop and the touch is working.The only downside was the HDMI cable didn't work for me (used another one) and that only have 1 OTG USB port. I use wired mouse, keyboard and controller because I'm using it for gaming so I bought a USB HUB and its working great.

The overall quality of the monitor is really great, feels nice and solid. I've had the chance to use it with a couple of my devices and having it powered different ways. It works great connected to my Xbox and being powered from it too, but not sure why it has problems staying powered on when connected to my Laptop, the display will power off irregularity even when powered from the type c port of my laptop. It can be powered by a portable charger, but even with a 20000 mha charger, I got around a few hours before it died. The sound is okay but it's what I expected from a portable monitor.

I spend a lot of my spare time evaluating single board computers (Raspberry PI. Banana Pi, Orange Pi, Odroid, Onion, Pine 64, etc.). I have tried various solutions: HD TVs in a hotel room, transporting an HD display in my luggage and even purchasing a small-screen HDTV locally. (Sometimes, I have had to use a 7" - 10" display which required the connection of a video driver card with an HDMI input. ) None of these have been an acceptable long-term solution.Recently I read the descriptions of a number of small-screen displays and monitors on Amazon and decided that this product would be worth a trial. According to the product description, this monitor appeared to have all the features of a full-sized desktop monitor, but in an incredibly compact form factor.The product arrived in a well-designed package, which included good protection for the monitor itself and space below for the MiniHDMI Cable, the MicroUSB Power Cable, Power Adapter and compact, adjustable, easel-like stand. (Also included, was a simple, but detailed, instruction pamphlet.)My first surprise when I removed the monitor was the weight of the unit. I had expected something light and flimsy, like the typical 7" touch screen displays which I had used before. Instead, this monitor is constructed within a sturdy aluminum frame. It is similar in size and shape to an iPad Mini, but without the weight of a battery.On the rear panel are mounting keyholes to allow for mounting flexibility. In addition, there are two ports for the built-in speakers. On the left edge, there are jacks for the MiniHDMI connection, 3.5mm Headphone output and MicroUSB Power input. On the right side, there are buttons for: Power On/Off; Menu; Down; Up and Exit. The onscreen menu layout is like that on any typical desktop monitor, so there is no need to learn a new process.In order to test the monitor, I connected it to the HDMI output port of an Odroid N2 SBC and applied power to both devices. Within a few seconds, the Odroid had booted to the Ubuntu MATE desktop in an HD format. The screen display was clear and bright and just like the 22" Dell HDMI monitor that was sitting on my desk. When I moved the mouse pointer arrow to the upper left corner to the MATE menu, there was no latency in terms of the display of the menus or submenus. I was mildly surprised by “key clicks" coming from the speakers, as I had no external speakers connected.Using this Newsoul monitor for the first time indicated to me that it should work properly with any HDMI source. There was no requirement to download a driver. There was no requirement to adjust any Linux parameter in the OS. It just works! I did check the various adjustments in the monitor menu, and they all seemed to work appropriately. (The Aspect Ratio defaults to HD, but 4 X 3 is also an option.)Overall, this monitor is built as though they had taken a full-sized HDMI monitor and somehow magically shrunk it down to 7"! (Standard keyboard)Update:For some reason, the display went into a dark mode (as though a screen saver had been triggered) after several days of use. I exchanged emails with the manufacturer as they tried to trouble shoot the issue. Finally, after about a week, their recommendation was to initiate a return/replacement with Amazon. The Amazon process was incredibly easy! I received an advance replacement within a few days and the physical return process was very simple.The replacement display has worked flawlessly!It is good to work with a manufacturer who takes responsibility for Customer Service with their products.

Pros:perfect size for portability without being to small.Comes with cords to connect several different types of devicesSeems pretty tough.Cons:Needs more selection of port types this only has 2 usb c and one mini hd slot (needs some older connection ports as well like hdmi and maybe usb 3.0. This change Would make it where I don’t have to change out my cord arsenal, or buy another adapter, just to use the thing.Screen cover/protector/case is pointless. And the instructions on how to use it are poorly written.Update: after a little further testing of this product I found it to have exceptional sound quality and it even has a built in kickstand for horizontal orientation. Furthermore, it also includes a cable adapter from hdmi to mini hd.Overall, great device and I would recommend it to a friend.

Not all portable monitors have vesa mounting holes. Which was important for us when setting up a home office. It’s super light and easy to plug in to a laptop real quick. Text is crisp and the screen is pretty bright. Seems durable, and I put it in a old laptop case when I’m moving it around. Overall I am pretty happy with it.

This monitor is incredible value. I was a bit skeptical that it could have all the features it has for such a low price. But when I received it everything worked as expected. I use a Macbook Air 2020 M1 for work. I frequently travel and have to work from various locations. Because the screen on my Macboook is small, I thought a portable screen would be perfect to extend my screen real estate while working away from my home office. I love the 2k resolution because it creates more screen space for me to work on. On my Mac I did have to adjust the resolution (Displays -> Scaled) and select the toggle that's called something like, "Show all resolutions". Once I pressed that I was able to select the 2k resolution. With 2k, everything is pretty small (such as text), but it's easy to zoom in and adjust the windows / scale to the right size. Although apparently it's recommended to use the power cable separately while extending your screen, I was able to use the included USB-C to USB-C cable to power and display from my Macbook. Of course it drains your Macbook battery faster, but if your Macbook is plugged in, you should be able to simply connect the monitor into the laptop and not the wall. I'm not an expert or anything so I don't know if there are any downsides to this approach for things battery longevity, etc. But so far it's worked well for me.I also bought this screen to use to watch videos from my phone while traveling. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. Initially I attempted to connect my phone and it didn't work. My device just acted like it was charging the monitor or being charged by the monitor. It didn't recognize the display. I contacted support and received a response within a day. I was recommended a cable that they promised to reimburse me for. I ordered it (HDMI to USB-C video cable) and with it, my phone recognized the monitor as a display but the monitor was still blank. After some troubleshooting, I found out the problem was with my phone, not the monitor. My phone's USB-C port is damaged so it only communicates power not video. I plugged my younger Brother's Galaxy S20 into the monitor and it worked immediately with both cables (the included USB-C to USB-C and the separately ordered HDMI to USB-C). I told this to support and they still offered to pay for the ordered cable. Today they reimbursed me as promised. I've never had customer service this good.Just a couple things on how the monitor works with a phone plugged in. First, if you have a phone similar to mine, you definitely have to plug the monitor into the wall as well. My brother's phone's power output definitely was not powerful enough to power the monitor. Even if it did, I'm sure the phone would be drained very quickly. Much to my surprise, my brother's Samsung phone got the full 2k resolution on the monitor when mirroring the phone (Galaxy S20). Amazing how powerful phones are nowadays. Another thing I was originally concerned about was whether the display would work with protected content, aka HDCP. If the monitor and cable do not support HDCP, you cannot watch most Netflix, Hulu, etc. shows when mirroring or extending. I tested this and using the included USB-C to USB-C and the later provided USB-C to HDMI video cable, I was able to view protected content on the display, so I assume it supports HDCP. Amazing!A quick note on other features. As other reviews have said, the speakers are not very good quality. But that's not at all what I bought it for. My Macbook's speakers are good and it's easy to connect headphones to the sources device. So I didn't care that they didn't sound good. Also, some have complained about the magnetic foldable case/mount. It's true that the magnet isn't super strong, but it mainly stays mounted fine on a stable surface. No problems for me here.Essentially, the monitor does what I wanted to do, and very gracefully. Very happy with my purchase and unbeatable value for the price. I'm looking forward to using this during travel.

I got this to make my mini PC portable. I like that it has full size HDMI, the option of using usb-c for both power and signal instead (when using the correct port, though I probably won't use it that way). The cover lays flat for protection and slimness for transport, and folds up into a stand for use. I also like the option to connect my phone with OTG, but need some cables for that. Working good.
